Josi Beck knows the publishing world from both sides of the page.

Josi Beck is the owner of Beck Literary Agency and USA Today bestselling author JL Beck. With over ten years in publishing and three years of agency experience, she built the career she couldn’t find—representing herself, forging industry relationships, and opening an agency built on empathy and strategy.

A member of the Association of American Literary Agents, Josi has facilitated millions in book deals and is committed to supporting authors as people, not numbers. When she’s not advocating for storytellers, she’s with her family, four dogs, or writing unapologetic heroes.

Katie has been an avid reader for as long as she can remember, and her love of romance truly ignited after discovering Fifty Shades of Grey post-college.
She’s drawn to emotionally driven stories and swoony character arcs, and is actively seeking contemporary romance, thrillers, suspense, YA/NA romance, commercial fiction, romantic comedies, and fantasy or paranormal romance, but only when the romance leads the way.

Sade is a USA Today bestselling author with over twenty published titles, bringing firsthand insight into the writing and publishing landscape. While training under Beck Literary, she’s building a selective list of clients and supporting foreign rights acquisitions.
Sade is especially passionate about romance in all its forms and has a strong interest in championing Black, Diverse, and BIPOC authors and characters.
Lisa Beck

AGENCY ASSISTANT

Lisa fell in love with reading in 2019 and never looked back. What started with After by Anna Todd turned into a passion for intense, dark, and spicy romance—especially paranormal, monster romance, and dark romantic suspense.
Now part of the Beck Literary team, she supports the agency with administrative tasks, behind-the-scenes operations, and social media content. She lives in Wisconsin with her husband, two children, three dogs, and a cat.
